About GFN Summit

We , GFN Summit, a new and exciting freight forwarding network with one main principle, connecting freight forwarding who are strong with the potential to serve the needs of other forwarders around the globe.

Member Selection

We have a dedicated team working on recruitment in search of active freight forwarders to invite them to become members of GFN. We assure all companies that we accept into the network, are reliable and were reviewed/background checked to the limits that we can, to assure that your future partners & friends are worthwhile. The factors of selection include financial stability, professionalism, years in the market, and reputation of the company.

GFN Summit is looking for companies from various scales of businesses in the sophisticated freight-forwarding industry.

We at GFN Summit, are pleased to offer first-year wave of 50% of the membership fee for your esteemed company to develop business and to see member’s performance during the year. We also understand that during Covid-19 we should support each other. 

The company must advise two references who can confirm service quality and credibility to become a verified members. This is for maximum security, maximum performance and to the benefit of all GFN members.

Basic Requirement for Membership

• Companies applying for membership must have been established in the freight forwarding and/or logistics business for a minimum of 2 years
• Applicants must submit two (2) references from agents you currently do business with, outside the country in which you are located. Email addresses/phone numbers must be provided.
• Companies that are in more than 2 networks in addition to applying for GFN membership  are asked to commit to attend the Annual GFN Summit AGM,  and devote enough resources to make their investment in our network worthwhile.
• Applicants must be members in good standing in international organizations and indicate those organizations. Please indicate any certifications or organizations your firm is currently pursuing.

A native of Minnesota in the USA, Greg has spent over two decades in Southeast Asia working in the field of logistics, freight forwarding and supply chain development. A veteran of the magnetic data storage industry, he has been responsible for creating business models designed for western based manufacturing companies that want to establish functional and cost effective positions in ASEAN countries.

With a background in procurement, marketing and the quality sciences, he has extensive experience working with companies to improve the velocity and dependability of their supply chains on a global platform.

Tony has over forty years’ experience in International freight management working with one of the UK’s oldest family owned Freight Forwarding companies. He served as a Director for 20 years and is a graduate of the Institute of Freight Professionals.

Tony joined the industry in 1976 based in Birmingham and was involved in European and Ocean exports operations before moving onto running warehousing operations. He later moved to run the Ocean Import Division based in Felixstowe, and was involved in setting up new services, customs warehouses and assisting in setting up new offices in the USA and Hong Kong, as well as securing major accounts for the business. His Board roles included Operations Director responsible for all modes of transport and Business Operations Director which involved responsibility for Finance, IT and all compliance issues, including GDPR, Authorised Economic Operator Status, Insurance, Legal and Brexit. Tony was involved with the British International Freight Association for several years and served as Anglia Region Chairman.

Leely is passionate about organizing and executing exciting AGM events for her clients. Her entry into the events industry was in the year 2008.

Leely rocks the knowledge when it comes to AGM, event management, exhibition, and B2B events around the world. She offers 10+ years of experience in the AGM Event Industry. She has been involved with and lead planner on many incredible projects locally, nationally and internationally. Most of events Leely has managed and executed from beginning to end.

Gig graduated with a Master’s Degree in General Management from a reputable university in Thailand. She has a wealth of experience in sales management, new business development and consulting business both local and international organizations. Her success and extensive experience in Business Development Management is undoubtedly going to bring powerful skills to GFN team to further enhance the growth and expansion.

Pang taking care day-to-day duties. She is here to support all GFN members. She always impresses everyone with a skill that no one else has in her very detail, organized, multitask, think outside the box. Her good knowledge and understanding of social media will surely help our GFN grow!
